Leke Dukagjini ambushed and killed Leke Zaharia Altisferi
[edit]Lekë Dukagjini "ambushed and killed Lekë Zaharia Altisferi, prince of Dagnum" in 1447. That action allowed Venetians to take Dagnum and triggered Albanian–Venetian War (1447–1448). During this war Svetigrad was lost because war with two empires at the same time (Venetian and Ottoman). This is important event that should have its place in the article.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 09:50, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

The place of birth of dukagjini
[edit]Okay this is a quote from the biography of lekë dukagjini “His name Lekë is an abbreviated version of Alexander.[2] Lekë Dukagjini's place of birth is a village called Orosh, Mirditë, Albania. Until 1444 he was pronoier of Koja Zaharia.[3] He took over the ruling of the county from his father Prince Pal Dukagjini in 1446, who appears to have died of apoplexy.[4]“ why does it say he was born in Orosh, Mirditë yet it says on the quick biography he was born in Gjilan should we fix this? Birthplace
[edit]@Xgameboss123: I had to remove an edit about Leka's birthplace. The connection to Lipjan is not found in historiography, but in a very recent - false - conjecture that a Vulpiana mentioned by medieval sources is in fact Ulpiana, which in turn is Lipjan. But Vulpiana is not Ulpiana and Ulpiana is not Lipjan, hence it's a superfluous and wrong claim by authors who reproduce this theory.--Maleschreiber (talk) 00:06, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
